Exception Test

PPS25 Sequential Testing is generally the responsibility of the Local
Planning Authority (LPA) and indeed many LPAs have now undertaken their
Strategic Flood Risk Assessments (SFRAs) to a level where allocated
development areas have been Sequentially Tested. When a potential
development site falls within Flood Zone 2 or 3 and it has either not been
Sequentially Tested or it does not lie within an allocated development area,
it does fall to the developer to
promote and assist with the Sequential Test. We have the relevant expertise to
assist with this process.
